The post is late tonight because I spent an hour at the childrens' group home with the precious child I mentor eating pizza. I am amazed that in "serving" and "giving" we receive so much. Time spent with this child blesses me beyond measure. Even those who make public service a career like Ann and I do can still gain so much from a little extracurricular service like mentoring and volunteering.
